Seeking dynamic and motivated Registered Nurses to work in our acute medical wards and rehabilitation/stroke unit.


Work across 8 surgical specialties alongside ward based educators and a close knit, friendly interdisciplinary team.

Emergency Department​

We have permanent full time and part time positions available for Registered Nurses with a minimum of five years post registration experience to join our ED.

Perioperative/Operating Theatres​

With two new operating theatres being built at our hospital, now is the time to see what theatre nursing is all about! We have full time and part time positions available.


We see a variety of presentations via our emergency department, orthopaedic clinic and our 3 rural hospitals which are supported by Whangarei hospital.

Nursing Bureau

Join our join our vibrant and friendly team at the Bay of Islands Hospital on a part time no fixed hour basis, working in our brand new Accident & Medical Department and General Ward.

Stroke Unit/Rehabilitation

Join the Acute Stroke and Rehabilitation Unit where you will be well supported to develop new skills in Stroke Nursing as well as develop in other areas.

Assessment Unit

We're looking for Registered Nurses with experience in acute care settings: medical, surgical, orthopaedic, cardiology, acute assessment environment or emergency care.


Join our busy general paediatric ward and special care baby unit (SCBU) teams in part time no fixed hour positions.

Kaitaia Hospital
